About the greenhouse
Rent Mendel’s greenhouse for your wedding, company event, Christmas party, workshop, conference or many other occasions. This gives you the opportunity to hold an interesting event in a completely unique space in the center of Brno, yet in a calm and pleasant environment. We will be happy to present the greenhouse to you and show you all its possibilities.
The new Mendel greenhouse by architectural studio Chybík+Krištof copies the original floor plan and orientation. A permanent exhibition of Mendel’s legacy will be located here, and conferences, lectures, banquets, exhibitions and concerts will be held here. Above all, however, peas will be grown here “like in the old days” – and yet in the most modern way, in aeroponic flower pots. The pea that, through the abbot and brilliant scientist GJ Mendel, stood at the birth of genetics.

| Heated in the winter months | In the period January, February, December, the heating price of CZK 2,000 without VAT will be billed for the whole day. In the period January, February, December, the heating price of CZK 1,000 excluding VAT for half a day will be billed. |
| Abbey garden rental | The abbey garden can also be rented to rent Mendel’s greenhouse. Please contact us for the price. |
